Douglas Steers & Company was set up in 1994 so has now been advising for over 28 years, David Steers’ origins go back to February 1987 when he started as a Trainee Consultant for a local brokers.Our specialty is pension related planning which also includes various types of collective investments, specialising in At Retirement Planning, whether that be flexi-drawdown or annuity purchase and how you can use assets you have accumulated to ensure and maintain a secure and comfortable retirement. We first advised on drawdown contracts way back in 1995, in those days drawdown was a very different arrangement and more restrictive, however the gentleman involved with that arrangement still has the contract in place and remains one of our most valued clients.Over the years the business has changed, back in the early 1990’s we provided a full range of services but have slowly moved to more specialist advice around pensions and investment planning.
