I would like to say a little about myself and my business. I have 30 years experience in the Painting & Decorating trade, working my way up to foreman at a small quality decorating firm, before making the choice to become self employed in 2009. In the years since, I have made constant progress, in both the way I work and the tools and materials I have incorporated into my working practices. I use a dustless sanding system that eliminates the majority of dust that is associated with preparation, which is both cleaner and better for my own and my clients health. Where possible, all paints are water based which is better for health and also the environment. If the environment is a concern I can also source paints that are organic and have zero VOC’s (volatile organic compounds), creating as little environmental impact as possible. Unlike a lot of tradesmen I give a fixed date for starting a job and a date when the job will be finished, allowing the client the freedom to make plans around those dates.
