Removal of mantel shelf above brick fireplace, cemented on, warped and no longer straight! and replace with a new oak beam, also would welcome quotes on painting the red brick, dont want whitewash, it's an open fire, so can't knock it out! But need to make it look better and hide the red brick hence the idea of painting the bricks a stone or beige colour, open to suggestions
