Cellar door is scraping on floor. Close inspection shows right hand frame at bottom has rotted, which is probably causing door to drop on its hinges. Door needs to be removed, frame inspected and repaired. However, most likely outcome is that a new frame will need to be fitted and door rehung.

Wooden floor in lounge has bowed upwards in two places. We are about to sell the house, so we need someone to see what's happened and do a quick fix for selling, or to tell us me may as well rip it up and get cheap carpet fitted.
